Now hiring for a Library Assistant for Youth Services!

*20 hours per week, afternoons and 1 Saturday a month

**Wage negotiable depending on experience

 

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Shelving library materials in the children’s area

• Assisting with storytime

• Assisting with all youth programs

• Working the children’s service desk unassisted

 

Job requirements:

• A high school diploma or greater

• Experience working with children 

• Knowledge of some children’s or teen books

• Adhering to library policies and procedures

• Communicate clearly and effectively

• Patient and friendly

• Can work as a team, as well as unassisted.
