Gulf Specimen Marine Mobile Sea Lab

This marine life educational traveling exhibit is a mobile aquarium self- sustained and complete with state of the art filtration system and able to house a wide variety of live marine life. It holds 450 gallons of saltwater aquariums including 5 touch tanks with starfish, sea urchins, conchs, crabs, sponges and a variety of other interesting and colorful sea life from the Gulf of Mexico that are safe for children to pick up and handle.

Age Group: Children with an adult all ages This event will be held at Davis Park and children may register for the Summer Reading program there or in the Children’s room on this day. The lab will be on site during the hours listed, but children are not expected to stay for the entire time. Children may participate at any time during the hours listed. Large groups should call the library in advance to set up a specific time to come and visit the sea lab.
